Inspired by Alexander Calder, whose Calder's Circus, wire portraits, mobiles, and stabiles, brought whimsy and playfulness to the art world, we have launched All Wired Up as the first multi-disciplinary project hosted by muscella.com.

Each week we'll add a little more information about wire. We will discuss the many uses of wire today; provide a brief history about wire. We will also describe the lessons we are planning for our students. (You can read about what happens in during these lessons in the Teacher conversation section.) And, every two weeks there will be a puzzler about wire, giving you a chance to win prizes.
