A group of high school teachers-most of who teach physics-discuss the activities they use on the first day of school. Notice that the conversation takes place during the summer as teachers are beginning to plan their curriculum. The teachers participating in this conversation live across the United States-Alabama, Massachusetts, Delaware, Alaska, Colorado, New Jersey, Missouri.
