We're
connected to the Internet.....
Now What?

What
do you use the Internet for?
Teachers
report that the greatest challenges they face in their work are:
isolation,
and a lack of time.
Communities
of Practice are one way to ameliorate the isolation that teachers
experience.
Communities
of Practice may not solve problems of time-or the lack thereof-but
they do allow teachers to connect with colleagues at times that
are convenient to them.
How
does one offer a cup of tea electronically?
How
can we present a bouquet of flowers in cyberspace?
Where
is the beef?
What's
the point?
Is
this worth my time?
Questions,
we have questions. Asking just the right question.....
at just the right time.
An
online conversation among a group of high school science teachers
on LabNet
Where
are the cups of tea?
Are
there bouquets of flowers?
Is
there any "beef?"
What
are the good and productive questions?
